Obviously, i was really depressed when reading the end of the sixth Harry Potter book. And art is usually my way of calming my emotions. I was trying to express the feeling of loss that the whole entire school would be feeling...yes, even the slytherins; they have hearts too. The line art was done a long time ago and i just now got done coloring it. The color job is crude, but it works. This is probably going to be the last finished piece i'll be submiting for a long time. I have college things to do.

Harry Potter references (c) JK Rowling and i guess partly Warner Brothers.

Oh wow! Such a pretty Hogwarts crest. The black ribbon is a nice touch to go with the end of the book. :D

oh sh*t... while reading the info I realized I still haven't finished the book -_-;;; man I'm dumb... anyhow.. they do look sorrowful, but being on a crest kinda counters the whole sorrowful thing. I like it, it's come out nicely.

oh no!!!! I'm sorry, it didn't ruin it for you did it? i hope not. :)
That's an interesting way to look at it....i think i get what you mean though. I just wanted a way to show sorrow throughout the whole school and the crest was what represented the whole school...i really didn't want to change that. But i do understand. Thank you for the comment! :D

Yeah,I read that part too.I felt really lonesome and sorry for the characters,especially Harry.:( But I must say,this drawing is quite magnificent.:+fav:
