Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

last one for today, i promise!
Johnny Depp is a genius. seriously. He took a regular, not all that interesting pirate character and with a little odd inspirations created the deepest, neatest character i have ever seen.
And the Jack Sparrow books make it even cooler. I know they're written for kids, but these books are amazing at building up a history for the character we see in the movies...it really is. Seriously, if you're a Jack Sparrow fan i highly recommend reading them.
That all said: This is the moment in #7 - City of Gold where we find out how Jack got his first gold tooth.
Arabella grabbed Jack's face and turned it towards her.
For a scary moment, he thought she was going to kiss him.
But she was only looking at his tooth.
The books are supposed to be taking place while Jack's around 15 or 16, and in the book illustrations he seems a lot younger than that. So, i did my own design for young Jacky.
