"We're the seven drunken pirates, we're the seven deadly sins"
~Seven Deadly Sins - Flogging Molly
I really enjoy this song by Flogging Molly...it always puts a smile on my face and my foot to a'tappin'. It also got me to thinking. What would pirate's look like if they actually were the seven deadly sins? So, I did some research on the seven deadly sins (wikipedia and 7deadlysins.com) and came up with character outlines for each one.
Lineart 1 of 7 - Superbia or Pride/Vanity
- color: Purple
- I see Superbia as not only having pride in oneself (how can someone not have some pride in themselves?) but openly flaunting it.
- The desire to surround oneself with beauty: lace, frills, and large plums
- "Blinded by conceit"
