"We're the seven drunken pirates, we're the seven deadly sins"
~Seven Deadly Sins - Flogging Molly
I really enjoy this song by Flogging Molly...it always puts a smile on my face and my foot a'tappin'. It also got me to thinking. What would pirate's look like if they actually were the seven deadly sins? So, I did some research on the seven deadly sins (wikipedia and 7deadlysins.com) and came up with character designs for each one.
Lineart 1 of 7 - Superbia or Pride/Vanity
color: Purple
I see Superbia as openly flaunting the pride one has for themselves.
The desire to surround ones self with beauty: lace, frills, and large plums
"Blinded by conceit"
EDIT: I started working on these again, and since it's taking me forever to get them colored I decided to make the lineart a little more appealing. Textures from the amazing ~dazzle-textures
