...and the wind in my face.
I'd forgotten how relaxing it was to do a drawing like this. Not having to care if it looked neat, or what it would look like inked or in color. Just to sit and do what i love to do...pencil drawings.

It's kind of ironic how when you describe a drawing you always say what the character in your picture is feeling, when in reality, what the character is feeling is exactly what you were feeling when you drew it. I was going to say that this is luscious after a hard days work of swabbin' the decks...She's not really watching as the setting sun shoots colors across the sky. She's thinking. She's very relaxed and melancholy....thinking of things past and things to come. That's what i was going to say....but in fact, what you see in this drawing is exactly how i felt when i drew it, and how i feel now. I'm heading to college this weekend for band camp and then classes start the 29th....i'm not sure what to think or what to feel. I can't describe how i feel in words, but i think this drawing pretty much sums it up...at least for now.
